Dear Parent/Carer,

 Easter Competitions  

 As part of our Easter celebrations, we will be holding the following competitions:

 This year, our theme for all competitions will be children’s book characters.

 EYFS (Reception and Nursery) – Easter Bonnets 

 KS1 (Y1 and Y2)   - Easter Bonnets (Please note that hats are not supplied by school).

 KS2 (Y3, Y4, Y5 and Y6) – Decorated eggs

• Your egg must be hardboiled
• The whole design must be no more than the size of a shoebox.
• Please give your display a title and include your child’s name and class on a small piece of card or paper. A joint entry from siblings is fine!

We are looking for the most imaginative and original designs for hats and eggs made by you as a family.

Children should bring their finished hats and eggs to school on Friday 4^th April and judging will take place on the same day. We will display all entries into the competition on the class Seesaw pages.We look forward to seeing your creations!

Non-Uniform Day and Easter raffle: 

We will be holding a Non-Uniform Day on the 28^th March. Children can come to school in non-uniform (sensible and age-appropriate clothing) in exchange for a chocolate donation. The Friends of Moorside will be creating chocolate hampers with the donations which can be won in a raffle. The raffle will be drawn on 2^nd April. The Friends of Moorside will send out further information regarding purchasing raffle tickets.
