Year 2 school trip to the Victoria Theatre, Halifax – Tuesday 16^th December

Dear Parent/Carer,

Y2 is off to see the pantomime…  Oh no they’re not… Oh yes they are!!!!

The children have been learning all about life in the Victorian Era so what better way to finish the year than with a trip to the theatre to see Beauty and the Beast!

Children will need to wear full school uniform.

We will be leaving school at 9:00am and we will be returning to school for a late lunch.

In order to make our trip possible we are asking that you pay a £13.00 donation which will cover the transport costs and cost of the Pantomime tickets. The Education Reform Act (1988) states that you are under no obligation to contribute towards any school visit, however if insufficient funds are received, we will have no option but to cancel the trip.  We must stress that being unable to make a contribution towards the visit will not affect your child’s right to attend. Anyone who is struggling to make a financial contribution is encouraged to speak with Mrs Higgs.
